- Typically, WISPs install a few 4G eNodeBs and deploy IPLOOK’s 4G EPC core network platform in central locations around a community, with connections back to the Internet. Each subscriber has a CPE on their house and use it to receive broadband services.
- IPLOOK ’s NFV based EPC software can be deployed on COTS and Cloud. It supports all eNodeB vendors openly.
- Meanwhile, our vEPC enables APIs for provisioning and billing. That helps WISPs to enhance operation abilities.
- We also provide 3GPP standards based interface for roaming with MNOs.
- In the future, IPLOOK’s EPC could be upgrade to convergent 5GC smoothly.

We provide a complete, end-to-end FWA solution. This includes everything you need to become a fully operational WISP: the Base Station (eNodeB), the Carrier-Grade Core Network (EPC/5GC), and the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) installed at the subscriber's location. This turnkey approach ensures perfect compatibility and drastically reduces your time-to-market.
We already have existing eNodeBs from various vendors. Is your core network compatible with them?
Yes, absolute vendor neutrality is a core advantage of our solution. Our EPC platform openly supports multi-vendor eNodeBs using strict 3GPP standard interfaces. You are not locked into any proprietary radio hardware and can choose the most cost-effective base stations for your specific deployment areas.
Do we need to purchase expensive, proprietary hardware to run your core network?
No. Our NFV-based (Network Functions Virtualization) EPC software is highly flexible and can be deployed directly on standard Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) servers, or fully hosted in the Cloud. This eliminates the need for expensive telecom-specific hardware, cutting down your initial capital expenditure (CAPEX).
Our target rural areas have limited terrestrial connectivity. How do you handle backhaul challenges?
We design our networks to adapt to your environment. You can take advantage of our Centralized or Distributed network architectures to enable flexible deployment options. This allows you to make cost-effective use of any available backhaul—whether that is a standard terrestrial connection or satellite backhaul links for highly remote communities.
How does your platform help us manage subscriber billing and service provisioning?
Our vEPC comes equipped with robust APIs specifically designed for seamless integration with your existing provisioning and billing systems. Furthermore, we natively support multiple charging modes, including RADIUS, OCS (Online Charging System), and CG (Charging Gateway). This gives you the operational ability to offer flexible prepaid, postpaid, or data-capped internet plans to your customers.
Can our WISP subscribers roam onto traditional Mobile Network Operator (MNO) networks when they leave our coverage area?
Yes. We provide strictly 3GPP-standardized interfaces that allow for seamless roaming agreements with established MNOs. This enables your subscribers to maintain mobile services even when they travel outside your specific Fixed Wireless or local cellular coverage zones.
If we deploy a 4G EPC for our FWA network today, will we have to replace the system when we are ready for 5G?
You will not need to replace your system. Our platform is completely future-proof. When you are ready to offer higher speeds and lower latency, IPLOOK’s 4G EPC can be upgraded smoothly to a convergent 5G Core (5GC) via simple software and license updates, protecting your initial investment.
