Step-by-Step Demo Process
Here’s a breakdown of the demo process:
Step 1: Power Up and Confirm 5GS System
Power up the whole 5GS (5G System) and confirm stable power supply. The 5GS roughly includes:
· 5GC (5G Core Network): 5GC is responsible for managing network functions, authentication, and providing 5G services.
· DCN (Data Communication Network): It facilitates the exchange of information between different components of the 5G network.
· gNodeB: It’s the base station in 5G, acting as the connection point between the 5GC and UEs and providing wireless coverage for users.
· IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem): A key component for delivering real-time multimedia services (e.g., voice and video calls) over the 5G network.
· 5G-enabled smartphones/UEs
Step 2: Verify 5GC Status via Management Platform
Verify Status of 5GC via IPLOOK’s 5GC Management Platform
· Log in to the platform.
· Monitor Network Elements/Network Functions of 5GC.
· Confirm Software Process is Active.
· Check License Status as Valid.

Step 3: Validate DCN and gNodeB Functionality
Ensure, with technical team, that DCN and gNodeBs (provided by our industry partners) are functional.
Step 4: Confirm UE Registration on 5G Core
Ensure that the smartphones have been successfully registered on IPLOOK’s 5G Core.
