IPLOOK has become a member of O-RAN ALLIANCE
Recently, IPLOOK Technologies has joined in O-RAN ALLIANCE as an official member.
is a world-wide community of Radio Access Network(RAN) industry founded by AT&T, China Mobile, Deutsche Telekom, NTT DOCOMO and Orange in February 2018.
In addition to the above founder accidents, the membership the O-RAN ALLIANCE also includes many operators, vendors and research & academic institutions in RAN industry.
As for O-RAN ALLIANCE, its purpose is to re-shape the RAN industry towards more and more intelligent, open, virtualized and fully interoperable mobile networks.
One of the key challenges in the evolution of mobile networks to white-boxed hardware and decentralised virtualized elements is to maintain the tight timing and synchronisation performance required by mobile networks. O-RAN, ITU-T and TIP are all involved in implementing and deploying this work, and IPLOOK will be making its own contribution to this effort.
