Private network has clear characteristics (high-security, high-stability and low-costing) for application scenarios in various industries, which constrains the iteration of private network to some extent. Compared to the public network, the private network communication remains at small-scale and highly-dispersed deployment with lower R&D investment, which is one of the major causes of tardy development of private network technology.

The future tendency of deploying private 5G network
With the development of information technology, all industries are involved in the wave of digital transformation. Because of the evident characteristics of 5G technology (extensive coverage, wide bandwidth and low latency), deploying private 5G network is suitable and flexible in some fields such as safe-protection, industrial Internet, smart transportation and so on. For example, 5G UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and 5G transport vehicle made contribution to the process of fighting against COVID-19.
Except from the data transmission, the reliability of ensuring critical communication capability is also significant for achieving effective administration of network. In this aspect, having specific technical advantages, legacy private network is still irreplaceable. No matter the private network is constructed by 4G technology or 5G technology, it is difficult for them to replace the function of legacy private network in vertical industries. Although there are many difficulties nowadays, deploying 5G technology to construct the private network telecommunication technology is the essential tendency.
As for the integration of public network and private network, IPLOOK provides two solutions:
Solution 1: sharing RAN between private network and public network — deploying lightweight 5GC for enterprises

Solution 2: the RAN of private network connects the 5GC control plane of public network, while the gNodeB of enterprises' private network and the edge UPF are deployed in the enterprises.

Conclusion
It’s impossible for public network to fully take the place of private network because of the practical application requirements of private network differentiated from public network. In some special industries such as public transportation, public safety, financial and educational areas and so on, isolated from public network, private network is still needed at the aim of ensuring the safety of information and network administration.
In 5G era, the network functions must be enhanced with diverse applications which requires deeper integration of private network and public network.

· Internal network is the LAN (Local Area Network) with several interconnecting computers in an area, supporting functions of e-mail, faxing, files management, software sharing and so on.
